FYI from the US Embassy

Due to the suspension of certain mail services to the United States, the U.S. Embassy in the Philippines advises beneficiaries who received the Annual Report Form (SSA-7161 or SSA-7162) to send the completed form to the Social Security Administrationโ€™s Federal Benefits Unit (FBU) in Manila via the mailing address:

Social Security Administration (Attention: FEQ)
U.S. Embassy in the Philippines
1201 Roxas Boulevard, Ermita
Manila, Philippines 0930

For questions, contact SSA/FBU directly via e-mail at [email protected].

This is what a โ‚ฑ80 per day gym gets you. A "bakal" gym is usually a pay-per-day gym. It's a gritty, no frills gym with no AC. Luxury? No. Gains? Yes.

๐Ÿ’ธ Financial Friday: Are Hidden Fees Eating Your Money? ๐Ÿ’ธ

Sending money abroad? You might be paying more than you think. Many expats miss out on spotting:

๐Ÿ’ฐ Transfer Fees โ€“ Flat or percentage-based charges.

๐Ÿ”„ Poor Exchange Rates โ€“ Sometimes the โ€œhiddenโ€ cost is in the rate itself.

โณ Receiving Delays โ€“ Some providers charge for faster delivery.

Tip: Always check both the transfer fee and the exchange rate. A $1,000 transfer could cost $5 with one providerโ€ฆ or $25 with another.

๐Ÿ’ก Question for you: Which app do you use to send money abroad?
