Project 02 - 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘑𝘗.𝘔𝘛 𝘏𝘰𝘶𝘴𝘦

A house extension designed to reflect honesty rather than decoration — mirroring the Client’s nature.

Brainchild Project 02 :

𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘉𝘳𝘰𝘸𝘯 𝘛𝘺𝘱𝘩𝘰𝘰𝘯 𝘝𝘢𝘤𝘶𝘶𝘮 🎷

The Brown Typhoon Vacuum is a theoretical technology that is designed to abate or in Filipino term, “pahupain”, the entry of typhoons in the Philippine Archipelago.

The structure will work like vacuums. Standing offshore towers located about a km away from the Eastern Coasts of Luzon and Samar Island.

Runoffs, as we know, are the lowest point of every land where rainwater piles. Since we build our drainage systems in standard with few consideration on runoffs and only relying on our bodies of water, leads us to these zonal swamps.

This project intends to develop a runoff-based flood system. Reusing existing road undergrounds as flood collecting facilities, connecting it on existing drainages and tapping it on bodies of water for right time disposal.

A design for all regions’ use.

The deepest recorded flood in an area will mathematically determine the Area of these under-road flood collectors.

As a fresh grad, I had the privilege of assisting a good friend with the design of their home.
