We praise God for a successful 💙𝙎𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙮-𝙏𝙤𝙜𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙊𝙣𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙁𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙤𝙬𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥 💙👩‍💻last 𝗧𝗵𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆 (𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟭𝟮, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲)! By His grace we were able to have a fun, edifying, and productive study time together with our SV manila peeps and other esvee invitees from the different SV campus chapters! 🥳

In addition to supporting one another with prayer and accountability, we were also able to reflect on the role and purpose of “𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠” in a Christian’s walk with the Lord.

In a world where work has been twisted to feel oppressive or exploitative, serving only selfish or futile ends instead of serving God and others, Christ calls us to another way–viewing it as an 𝙚𝙭𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥 𝙩𝙤 𝙖 𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙂𝙤𝙙 and an important part in our role as human beings who are likewise commanded to 𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙘𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙂𝙤𝙙’𝙨 𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣. 🤝🌎

We ended the devotion by sharing with one another how we each can personally exemplify God-honoring service in our workplaces and in our universities, praying that we would have diligence sustained by His grace–diligence that blesses others as a testimony of 𝘾𝙝𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙩 and His 𝙨𝙖𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠 within us. 🫂

We praise God for our first SG Meeting of the sem! 🤗

Last Thursday (Feb 26, 2026) we discussed 𝐋𝐮𝐤𝐞 𝟏𝟐:𝟐𝟐-𝟑𝟒 a passage that is both challenging and comforting for its readers. In it we were reminded of the Lord’s calling for His followers: to 𝙨𝙚𝙚𝙠 𝙃𝙞𝙨 𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙙𝙤𝙢 𝙛𝙞𝙧𝙨𝙩 𝙞𝙣 𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨–and the blessing it brings through a life 𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙤𝙣 𝙃𝙞𝙨 𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙚𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙢𝙞𝙨𝙚𝙨.

Together, we explored what this verse meant as students in our campuses and 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐞 𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐰𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐥𝐤 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞, openly sharing about the various concerns, distractions, and anxieties in our lives that can sometimes cause us to take our eyes off of the Lord 👁️

The command to not worry can feel challenging in this fast-paced, material world where convenience is tempting, but we find our courage and example in Christ who, through perfect trust for the good Father, lived a life fully devoted and obedient to Him. ✝️

Even if it sometimes costs our comfort and even as we work for our daily bread, may we treasure the One who considers us worth more than sparrows, sharing the peace and generosity that results from it with others ❤️
