Good Afternoon mga Ka-Hebrew đź’–đź’–đź’–
I will feed your enemies with their own flesh. They will be drunk with rivers of their own blood. All the world will know that I, the Lord, am your Savior and your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Israel.”
-Isaiah 49:26 NLT
Isaias 49:26 MBBTAG
In today’s verse, God is speaking to His people about the affliction they have suffered. He calls Himself by the name Redeemer. We see Isaiah talking to God’s people and referring to/calling God by the name Jehovah- Gō’ēl “Redeemer” in English translation). In Isaiah 49:26, God is speaking to the people and letting them know who it is that’s speaking to them.
Doubtless You are our Father, though Abraham was ignorant of us and Israel does not acknowledge us, You oh Lord are our Father, our Redeemer from everlasting is Your name. (Isaiah 63:16)
A redeemer or redemption is to buy back, repurchase to rescue (often from sin) with a ransom. What does it mean that God is a redeemer? God is our Redeemer because He saves us from our sin and the consequences of it. When we trust God and turn to obedience, He forgives us and cleanses us from all unrighteousness.
HE IS OUR REDEEMER!

Good Morning mga Ka-Hebrew đź’–đź’–đź’–
Isaiah 5:16 But the Lord of hosts shall be exalted in judgment,
And God who is HOLY shall be hallowed in righteousness.
Isaias 5:16 Ngunit si Yahweh na Makapangyarihan sa lahat, pupurihin siya sa hatol niyang matapat, at sa pagpapakita ng katuwiran, makikilalang ang Diyos ay BANAL.
El Hakkadosh, “the Holy God.” This name for God comes from the Hebrew word kadosh, meaning “one of a kind, utterly unique, set apart, holy.” Isaiah uses this name at least 30 times throughout his book.
Showing himself as El Hakkadosh, God reveals himself to Israel as completely upright or righteous. He walks a straight path. His exalted moral character sets him apart from the gods of the surrounding nations. He is not merely a useful dispenser of wishes and desires but is holy in and of himself. Because he is holy, God expects, even demands, that his people Israel be holy too.
So El Hakkadosh, “the Holy God,” became outraged when his “beloved vineyard,” his children Israel, produced only sour grapes. They had become corrupt and unrighteous.
In and through Jesus Christ, who is the true vine (John 15:1), we too are set apart for the Holy God. May we, by the power of his Holy Spirit, produce good fruit for him!
