Seeing the unseen - Yesterday, I stumbled across my client’s collection by the stairs. We still don’t know where to hang this, but remarkably, this stunning piece I think, was done by a Dutch artist named Albert Koetsier ;)
The ethereal, translucent glow of this iris got me obsessed. There’s something so calming about the blue tones and the minimalist structure.
As you take a closer look, it is more than just a photograph; it’s an X-ray. By stripping away the surface, Koetsier reveals the delicate “skeleton” of this iris, reminding us that there is so much hidden beauty beneath the surface. Science & Art in perfect harmony. Such a darling, isn’t it?
