Surrender, God is already there 🙏🤲

"S U R R E N D E R"

I think the word “𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫” is underrated nowadays for we are all being consumed by too much love for ourselves or even too much love for the world’s offer. This word is so easy to say and declare, but we find difficulty upon practicing it.

It is a daily choice. It is a daily commitment. It is a daily battle. It is a decision between what you desire and what is God's will for you.

𝐈𝐭’𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐲. For not what we want is what God wants for us. Not all desires are God’s desire for us. Not all our dreams, plans, and goals are God’s will and plan for us. But I have realized that “𝐭𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐆𝐨𝐝’𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐢𝐬 𝐦𝐮𝐜𝐡 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐛𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫.”

To surrender someone/something that we love, something that we truly desire, something that’s on our plans/dreams, something that we have practiced since childhood be it habit or character, is not an easy thing to do, and yet take a look at this: the cause of doing all these things which aren’t aligned to God’s will will just bring you brokenness and pain for you are fighting the plans God has for you.

So from this day forward, never hesitate to surrender everything unto the Lord. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐣𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐦𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐛𝐞 𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐲 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐛𝐞 𝐚𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐠𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮. Therefore, even before we take the first step, God is already there. He knows you very well, and surely, He will provide the things that you need along the journey.

Let every question — the what if’s, the how’s, and the why’s, be surrendered to the Lord. For one day, you’ll thank God for giving up those questions, just enjoying God’s answer for you.

Lastly, it takes humility to surrender. For only those who are humble enough in the very presence of the Lord can experience breakthroughs and victories. 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐡𝐮𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐝 ‘𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫’ 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐬𝐨 𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮. Be at rest, people. God has a plan. Just surrender.

TIP: When you surrender, don’t look at how big it might cost you. For the more you calculate the cost, the more you can’t do it. Just surrender with no questions, with no calculations. 🙌🏻
