THE GREAT WORTH OF A MOTHER/WOMAN IS POWERFUL AND EQUAL TO A MAN

Mothers are so powerful that they are multi-talented. They are full of patience. Imagine carrying the baby for 9 months inside the womb. Usually, it is the mother who stays overnight to attend to the baby’s needs, while the husband needs to rest for the work the following day

A mother’s worth is incomparable, immeasurable, and priceless, which, considering their economic value, demands the highest salary if paid, as a full-time mother. Sad to say, many husbands do not see these. Psychology and history reveal that the mother-child relationship, or motherhood, is very critical in molding a child’s personality.

They performed numerous roles that, when passed to the husband, the husband cannot handle. I experienced that when my wife was away for two weeks, taking care of our three children. You wake up early in the morning to prepare food for them. I had to wake them up and help them in getting ready for school. While they have breakfast, you pack their food for lunch. Then drive them to the school. After that, you go back to wash the dishes and clean the house. Just then, do the work for a while. Prepare their food for supper. Then get them from school. Well, it was not that easy.

With these roles as a mother, who said women are inferior to men and not powerful? They are not inferior to man and are indeed powerful.

Women are not inferior to men. God did not make them that way. They were made to be a partner, a help-mate to man, but not made lesser than man.

Men and women are equal. They differ in roles.
The idea that they are lesser than men is not according to God’s design for them. In fact, they plenty of abilities that men are not capable of.

• Anatomically, there are some positions women can do that men can't, such as the chair challenge and the balance challenge. To see how, there are plenty of these on social media to check.
• Biologically, only we can experience pregnancy, childbirth, and lactation.
• Emotionally, better in emotional intelligence and outperform men.

These are just enough to show that women were made by God not inferior to men.

Yes, they have abilities we men are not capable of.

Women are actually powerful; men must be careful of that, because their presence, physiologically, could destroy good plans; their communication can turn yes to no; and their love can give hope and strength towards reaching the goal.

For example, Eve influenced Adam to eat the forbidden fruit. In fact, in Genesis 2, Adam was first told about that commandment in verses 16 and 17 before Eve was made, in verses 20-22. That is how powerful a woman is.

What about Samson? In Judges 16, Samson was convinced to reveal his secret because of Delilah's annoying behavior, pestering him until he was pressed and vexed to death. Because of love, see how the secret was revealed, which should not have had to be.

Women are so powerful that because of them, the wisest man on earth, King Solomon, left God,1 Kings 11. Abram had acknowledged, as implied, this kind of power women have when he told Eliezer not to allow Isaac to marry a Canaanite woman.

Yes, women can influence men much more when they become mothers. Consider these:

• Rebekkah to Jacob. She had influenced Jacob to lie. Genesis 27.
• Hannah to Samuel, 1 Samuel 1 and 2.
• Loise and Eunice to Timothy, 2 Tim. 1:5

The saying is true, saying, “as the mother goes, so go the nations.” Imagine if our women are not godly. Can we expect a godly wife, a godly mother?

Blessed indeed is he who has a godly wife, a virtuous woman described in Proverbs 21.

Young ladies, what kind of wife would you become, and what kind of influence would you be to your future husbands?

What kind of mother will you be to your children?

To our young men, if we are going to study those happy and successful men, behind all the successes and failures of a man is the kind of woman they chose as their partner in life.

Yes, women, particularly mothers, are priceless, incomparable, of very great worth. God made woman to be his partner. As a partner, God commanded man to love his wife as he loves his own body. For a partner to be encouraged and effective in the role, love and provide her needs, Ephesians 5:23-28.
