Every child deserves to feel safe in school, at home, and in the community.

Recently, incidents of school violence will remind us that violence is a public health issue that needs to be taken seriously, prevented, and/or resolved.

As adults, each one of us who are at home, in the neighborhood, at school, in the hospital, and in all government facilities, have a role in creating environment where children feel protected, heard, and supported.

Please teach empathy, respect, kindness, and peaceful ways to resolve conflict. Help our children to always choose compassion over violence, and hope over fear.

Philippine Pediatric Society (PPS) recommends that children aged 16 years and below should not have unsupervised access to social media.

Children’s brains are still developing. Excessive or unsupervised social media use has been associated with sleeping difficulties problems, anxiety and depression, cyber bullying, exposure to harmful or inappropriate content, and difficulty focusing and learning.

If social media is introduced before age 16, it should be closely supervised by parents or guardians, age-appropriate with clear rules and screen time limits, and balanced with sleep, school, physical activity, and family time.

Remember, there is no app that can replace a parent’s guidance. 🥰

Happy Philippine Independence Day! 🇵🇭 ☀️ 🙏🏼

Today, we celebrate the courage, sacrifice, and unwavering love of our heroes that continue to shape our nation.

While we face challenges and uncertainties, from political divisions to natural disasters that have shaken our communities, we are reminded that heroism still lives among us. In acts of kindness, generosity, resilience, and service, whether seen or unseen, ordinary people become beacons of hope and light in difficult times.

As we honor our heroes, let us also continue to nurture the health, dreams, and future of our children. May we raise a generation that is strong, compassionate, and empowered to build an honest, better, and brighter future for all.

We wish everyone a meaningful, peaceful Independence Day!

Our ate Princess and ate Pauline just had their 2026 Flu vaccination! 💪🏼

Because the strains change annually, the vaccine is updated to match the virus strains expected to spread the most. This helps protect you and your mga palangga from getting seriously sick from the flu and prevent its spread to our community.

Schedule an appointment with your doctor for your vaccination needs 😷⛑️

Baby Mahal just had her second rota vaccine!

Rotavirus is one of the most common causes of severe diarrhea and vomiting in babies and young children. It can be very harmful and can lead to rapid dehydration, which may become life-threatening if not treated early.

Even healthy babies can get sick quickly, so getting the rota vaccine on schedule is a key step in protecting your child 💙 Talk to your pediatrician for proper vaccination schedule.
