𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝟏𝟐 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐂𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐍𝐚𝐬𝐲𝐮𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐲𝐚𝐧

During the 33rd Foundng Anniversary of Cabatuan National High School, Grade 12 students from different strands showcased their films to the school community from Thursday, March 5 to March 7.

Students and teachers gathered to watch the films, appreciating the creativity of the young filmmakers. The film viewing highlighted the talents and ideas of the students, making the audience discover different success through their works.

According to Christian A. Dalupang, a teacher from CNHS, the films reflected the students’ talents in storytelling, acting, and technical production, while also highlighting their teamwork in creating meaningful outputs.

“Nakakatuwa kasi hindi ko inexpect din na ganun pala mag-isip ang mga estudyante ng CNHS. ‘Yung iba hndi mo aakalain na naisip pa nila ‘yon.” Dalupang also said.

As the last day of the celebration, the school awarded the nominees during the Stakeholders’ Night at the CNHS Gymnasium. The winners of the different categories were then announced, recognizing the outstanding films of the Grade 12 students.

Best Short Film – Case 2016
2nd Place – I Hear You
3rd Place – Mayville ‘95

Case 2016 also received several major awards including Best Story/Screenplay, Best Concept, Best Ensemble Performance, Best Production Design, Best Section Entry, and Best Poster.

Meanwhile, I Hear You was awarded Best Direction, Best Sound Design, and Best Creative Use of Theme.

Individual awards were also presented to outstanding student performers: Stheiven John V. Petines for Best Actor, Andrea Gail Conde for Best Actress, Clyd Kryzzen Decenilla for Best Supporting Actor, and Venice Cassandra Taopa for Best Supporting Actress.

Other special awards were also given, including Best Cinematography for The Love That Never Left, Best Editing for FO, Best Advocacy Film for Huling Pahina, Best Visual Storytelling for Auti-Swim, Most Innovative Film for Mayville ‘95, and Best Teaser for Mayville ‘95.

𝐂𝐍𝐇𝐒 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐬 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭-𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬’ 𝐍𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝟑𝟑𝐫𝐝 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲

As part of the celebration of its 33rd Founding Anniversary, Cabatuan National High School (CNHS) conducted its first-ever Stakeholders’ Night, bringing together alumni, parents, students, school officials, and community partners in a night of recognition, gratitude, and strengthened partnership.

The event opened with a lively Opening Salvo by the CNHS Alab Manawari Dance Troupe, energizing the audience and setting the tone for the evening’s celebration. This was followed by the Grand Entrance of Stakeholders and Alumni, highlighting the strong connection between the school and its community supporters.

In his welcome address, SPTA President Oliver I. Llamelo expressed appreciation for the continuous support of stakeholders in the development of the school. He emphasized that the success of CNHS is the result of collective efforts from parents, alumni, and community members who remain committed to supporting the institution.

Several key figures also delivered messages during the program. Alumni President PCPT Brent Tomly C. Favor encouraged students to remain determined in achieving their goals and to take pride in being part of the CNHS community. Head Teacher III and SHS Focal Person Isabela L. Visaya Jr. highlighted the importance of collaboration between the school and its stakeholders in promoting quality education. Meanwhile, Secondary School Principal IV Dr. Julian B. James Jr. recognized the contributions of the school’s partners and reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to sustaining educational excellence.

One of the highlights of the evening was the awarding of winners of the Obra Dose Film Festival 2026, which showcased the creativity and storytelling abilities of Grade 12 students through film.

Following the awarding ceremony, guests participated in a socialization and dinner, providing an opportunity for alumni, stakeholders, and school personnel to reconnect and strengthen their ties with the school community.

The program concluded with closing remarks from SPTA Treasurer Robelyn Q. Pua, who thanked the attendees and organizers for making the event successful and emphasized the importance of continued cooperation among stakeholders.

Moreover, the Stakeholders’ Night, held for the first time in the history of the school’s founding anniversary celebration, marked a significant milestone for CNHS as it commemorates 33 years of service in education, highlighting the key role of community partnership in the school’s continuing growth and success.
