Last Sunday’s message reminded us that conquering our family means being intentional: guarding our tongue so that our words bring life, not hurt; refusing to allow conflict to divide us; and most importantly, leading our family closer to Jesus. These simple but powerful steps help us build a home that is safe, peaceful, and centered on Christ. ✨

Last Sunday’s service reminded us through Rahab’s story that even in the worst situations, faith can rise. She believed in God, chose His side, made a covenant to save her family, and her decision became part of the lineage of Jesus. 🤍🏡

Her journey shows us that when we choose faith over fear, and love over pride, we don’t just change our own lives—we secure hope for our families too. 🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒

Conquering Your Family begins with choosing love over pride. True victory in the home is not about proving who’s right, but about creating peace, sharing burdens, and letting love win every time. 🏡🤍

When we choose peace, we invite God’s presence. When we help carry each other’s burdens, we reflect Christ’s humility. And when we value love over arguments, we build a family that conquers together. ✝️✨

This is the season of ordination—where God calls, equips, and sends. A generation stepping into responsibility, authority, and service for His glory.

It is choosing obedience over convenience, truth over comfort, and surrender over control. When you begin to conquer yourself, you start aligning your life with something greater than your own desires. It’s not easy, but it is where real transformation begins—when your will no longer leads, but your faith does.

Self-denial means turning away from worldly desires and ambitions that pull you away from your purpose, and embracing the calling God has placed in your life—even when it costs you something.

Then Jesus said to his disciples, “𝙒𝙝𝙤𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙬𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙗𝙚 𝙢𝙮 𝙙𝙞𝙨𝙘𝙞𝙥𝙡𝙚 𝙢𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙢𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙫𝙚𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙪𝙥 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙞𝙧 𝙘𝙧𝙤𝙨𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙛𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙤𝙬 𝙢𝙚.” 𝙈𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙬 𝟏𝟔:𝟐𝟒. In losing what you want, you find who you’re meant to be. 🤍❤️

Many of the limits we experience are not created by the world but by the habits and beliefs we allow to stay. Unfinished business keeps our minds tied to the past, while tolerating doubt and fear slowly convinces us that we are less capable than we truly are. Sometimes we even place traps on ourselves through excuses, procrastination, or staying too comfortable. A weak personality often produces weak decisions, and when we become too familiar with comfort, we lose the drive to grow. True freedom is not simply escaping difficulties—it is mastering yourself, choosing discipline over excuses, and having the courage to move forward despite uncertainty. As it is written,
