𝗦𝗟𝗦𝟯 𝗞𝗜𝗖𝗞-𝗢𝗙𝗙 | 𝗟𝗔𝗨𝗡𝗖𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗔 𝗦𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗢𝗡 𝗢𝗙 𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗦𝗠𝗔𝗡𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗣 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗬

The excitement began on November 30, 2025, as Sports League Season 3 (SLS3) officially opened at the Sports Complex of The Orchard Golf and Country Club. Parents, teachers, alumni, security personnel, maintenance staff, and members of the Seton South Community gathered for a day filled with energy, camaraderie, and Setonian spirit.

The Opening Program commenced with a vibrant Parade of Participating Teams, proudly showcasing the enthusiasm, creativity, and sportsmanship of every team. The event highlighted the importance of teamwork, healthy competition, and community engagement, setting the tone for an exciting season ahead.

The official declaration of the opening of Sports League Season 3 was led by the PTA President, formally launching months of competitive games, meaningful connections, and unforgettable memories.

More than just a sporting event, SLS3 serves as a platform that strengthens relationships among members of the Seton South Community while promoting discipline, respect, perseverance, and unity through sports.

As the season unfolded, participants demonstrated not only athletic excellence but also the true essence of Setonian values: working together, supporting one another, and celebrating every achievement along the way.

As we celebrate the 128th Anniversary of Philippine Independence, let us honor the courage and sacrifices of our heroes who secured our freedom. May this occasion inspire our families and children to cherish our nation's history, uphold our values, and contribute to building a brighter future for the Philippines.

𝗙𝗘𝗕𝗥𝗨𝗔𝗥𝗬 𝗛𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗟𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧 | 𝗘𝗦𝗦 𝗣𝗧𝗔 𝗖𝗮𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱

To enhance community engagement and showcase the vibrant Seton spirit, the ESS PTA Cavite Campus partnered with DigiProd Media for two key initiatives during the school year: the production of the South Campus Open House promotional video and the livestream coverage of the Sports League Season 3 (SLS3) Championship.

Following a coordination meeting on February 5, DigiProd successfully delivered livestream coverage of the Basketball and Volleyball Championship games on February 13. SLS3 brought together members of the Seton South community including parents, teachers, alumni, and members of the security and maintenance teams in a celebration of teamwork, sportsmanship, and school pride.

Through this partnership, more families and supporters were able to connect, participate, and celebrate memorable school events both on-site and online.

Building stronger connections through sports, storytelling, and community engagement.

𝐴 𝑀𝑖𝑙𝑒𝑠𝑡𝑜𝑛𝑒 𝑜𝑓 𝐹𝑎𝑖𝑡ℎ

On January 31, 2026, the Grade 7 learners of Elizabeth Seton School - South gathered at the school chapel to receive the Holy Sacrament of Confirmation, marking a significant step in their spiritual journey as young Christians.

The solemn celebration was officiated by Most Rev. Reynaldo G. Evangelista, D.D., who led the candidates through this sacred rite with grace and reverence. In his homily, he encouraged the learners to embrace the gifts of the Holy Spirit and to live out their faith with courage, responsibility, and love in their daily lives.

Held at the Elizabeth Seton School - South Chapel, the ceremony was attended by the Grade 7 learners, faculty members, and school administrators, creating a prayerful and meaningful atmosphere for all present. The celebration highlighted not only the importance of the sacrament but also the unity of the school community in nurturing the faith of its learners.

Adding to the significance of the occasion, the Parents-Teachers Association (PTA) generously sponsored the Confirmation souvenirs. These tokens served as lasting reminders of the learners’ commitment to their faith and the support of the community that continues to guide them.

The Holy Sacrament of Confirmation stands as a profound moment for the Grade 7 learners, strengthening them with the Holy Spirit as they continue their journey as active members of the Church. This memorable event will remain in their hearts as a testament to their growing faith and dedication to living as true disciples of Christ.

𝘉𝘶𝘪𝘭𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦, 𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘱𝘪𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘨𝘳𝘰𝘸𝘵𝘩, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘸𝘦𝘭𝘭-𝘣𝘦𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘢𝘭𝘭

In January 2026, the Center for Formation and Wellness (CFW) of Elizabeth Seton School – South led the celebration of Wellness Month with the theme “KaPanLayan 2026: Growing Resilient In ToughnESS (G.R.I.T.)”. The initiative highlighted the school’s commitment to promoting mental health, resilience, and holistic well-being among learners, employees, and parents.

One of the highlights of the celebration was the Wellness Lounge held on January 20–21, 2026, at Bayley Hall. This space provided a refreshing pause for teachers and staff, offering moments of relaxation and care amidst their busy schedules. Through the generous support of the Parents-Teachers Association (PTA), free haircutting services, manicure and pedicure, and breakfast were made available. Simple yet meaningful gestures of appreciation for the dedication and hard work of the school’s personnel.

On January 22–23, 2026, the spirit of wellness extended to the learners through Gritflix, held at the Senior High School Lounge. Learners from Grades 3 to 12 were invited to participate during their vacant periods, while those from the Primary Division enjoyed the films within their respective classrooms. This activity created opportunities for reflection, inspiration, and relaxation. The PTA once again extended its support by sponsoring free drinks and snacks, making the experience even more enjoyable for the learners.

The celebration concluded with a Guided Sharing for Parents on January 30 at the JVS Auditorium, facilitated by Ms. Myla Pilar S. Pamplona, PhD. Selected parent representatives, including PTA Auditor Mrs. Maria Cecilia Cubol, Mr. Alexander D. de Leon, and Ms. Kristy Ann L. Columna, participated in a meaningful roundtable discussion on nurturing resilience and emotional wellness at home. Snacks were generously provided by the PTA.

Through KaPanLayan 2026, the Setonian community was empowered to grow stronger, embrace challenges, and live out the values of grit, resilience, and perseverance together.

𝐴 𝐺𝑜𝑙𝑑𝑒𝑛 𝐶𝑒𝑙𝑒𝑏𝑟𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝑜𝑓 𝐹𝑎𝑖𝑡ℎ 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝐿𝑒𝑔𝑎𝑐𝑦

On January 16, 2026, Elizabeth Seton School commemorated a meaningful milestone. The 50th anniversary of the canonization of its Patron Saint, Elizabeth Ann Seton, and the founding of the institution named in her honor. The celebration was graced by Cardinal Jose Advincula, who joined the ESS community in a Thanksgiving Mass held at the ESS Gymnasium.

Present at the celebration were the school’s founders, Dr. Josefina V. Suarez and Ms. Evelyn V. Alido, together with School President Dr. Roberto T. Borromeo, administrators, faculty, learners, guests, and PTA representatives. Also in attendance were Principal Ms. Nenet and the South Campus PTA Officers, reflecting strong unity across campuses.

Inspired by the Gospel passage from Luke, “The Cost of Being a Disciple” (Luke 14:25–33), the homily encouraged the community to pause in thanksgiving and draw inspiration from the life, faith, and enduring example of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton.

A luncheon followed, providing an opportunity for PTA representatives from both campuses to connect, foster collaboration, and strengthen their shared commitment to the school community.

This golden milestone celebrates five decades of faith, service, and educational excellence inspired by the legacy of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton.
