“This immediate action reflects our unwavering commitment to the internal cleansing efforts of the Philippine National Police under the leadership of Chief, PNP PGEN Nartatez Jr. We assure the public that appropriate criminal and administrative cases will be pursued against the concerned personnel if warranted by evidence. PBGEN. JESS MENDEZ: Leading with Integrity, Inspiring Unity and Redefining True Public Service

Under the morning sky at Camp Olivas, PBGen. Jess Mendez transformed the Traditional Monday Flag Raising Ceremony into more than a symbolic gathering — it became a compelling reminder of the true meaning of public service.

Through his message, PBGen. Mendez emphasized that the strength of the police organization does not rest solely on authority or rank, but on discipline, integrity and the collective commitment to serve the people with honor.

His words carried not only authority, but also a deep sense of purpose that resonated among the members of the PRO3 family.

PBGen. Mendez underscored the importance of unity and professionalism in fulfilling the mandate of protecting the public.

At a time when trust and accountability are demanded from institutions, his speech served as a powerful call for every police officer to rise above routine duty and embrace service with sincerity and dedication.

He reminded everyone that behind every uniform is a responsibility to uphold the dignity of the badge and strengthen the confidence of the communities they serve.

Adding meaning to the ceremony was the ceremonial turnover of more than Php100 million from the Public Safety Mutual Benefit Fund Inc. (PSMBFI) for active PRO3 members.

For PBGen. Mendez, the initiative reflected the organization’s commitment not only to operational excellence but also to the welfare of its personnel.

It symbolized recognition for the sacrifices of police officers whose dedication often comes with personal risk and hardship.

As the Philippine flag waved proudly across the parade ground, PBGen. Mendez’s message stood as a renewed call to honor, unity and selfless service.

More than a Monday tradition, the ceremony became a reflection of leadership grounded in integrity and compassion.

In inspiring his men and women to serve with purpose, PBGen. Mendez reminded everyone that the true power of law enforcement lies not in force, but in character, accountability and genuine devotion to the nation.
