Cool & Dry: Keep the cake in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Airtight is Best: Once opened, keep it wrapped tightly in parchment paper or foil, then store it in an airtight container.

Refrigeration: While fruitcakes are shelf-stable due to the dried fruits and spirits, refrigerating it will help it stay fresh for several weeks.

Long-Term: If you want to save it for later, you can freeze it for up to 6 months! Just wrap it in extra layers of plastic wrap and foil before freezing.
