This World Turtle Day, let us protect their nesting beaches, reduce marine waste, and promote sustainable fisheries for future generations. Every small action helps keep our seas alive. 💚

Nicky’s story with Guiuan Development Foundation, Inc. is one of inspiration and heart. ❤️

She first joined our family as a GDFI Scholar, where her passion for the environment was nurtured.

After graduating, she returned to serve on the frontlines as a Field and Community Assistant, working directly in the mud and the mangroves with our local partners.

Because of her dedication and talent for communication, she recently transitioned into her current role as Training Assistant.

Today, she isn't just a former scholar or a field worker—she is a Licensed Professional Teacher ready to lead our capacity-building efforts and educate the next generation of coastal guardians.

Nicky, your GDFI family is so proud to have walked this journey with you—from scholar to teacher.
