Biology students gathered at the Science Laboratory on April 28, 2026, to formally send off the fourth-year students as they prepare for a new chapter.
Students from all year levels attended the event to recognize the graduating batch. Each fourth-year student received tokens of appreciation from the lower year levels as a way of thanking them for their guidance and presence in the department.
The fourth-year students shared their journey in the program, including their struggles, experiences, and achievements. Messages from the lower year levels followed, expressing appreciation and gratitude.
The fourth-year students also lined up to receive letters from fellow Biology students, filled with appreciation and well wishes.
The journey of this batch was not easy, but they made it through. Now, they are ready to move forward.
As they take this next step, they carry their experiences with themโand wherever they go, the Biology community will always be a place they can come back to.

A day of cheers, challenges, and cherished moments unfolded as the Biology Society brought students together for a vibrant celebration through the Biolympics, Biogames, Boodle Fight, and the much-awaited Biowar.
The day kicked off with the Biolympics, where teams stepped onto the field with excitement and determination. Every game was filled with energyโstudents running, cheering, and pushing each other to keep going. In the menโs division, Team 1 claimed first place, with Carlo Limbauan named Most Valuable Player for scoring 10 points. In the womenโs division, Team 2 won, led by MVP Kaye Catalo, who contributed 8 points. In volleyball, Mauve and Azure emerged as champions.
The momentum carried on with the Biogames, where laughter mixed with friendly competition. From clever strategies to unexpected moments, the games brought out everyoneโs playful side. Team Sage secured first place, followed by Team Sangria in second. Team Canary and Team Chartreuse tied for third place.
After the morning competitions, participants convened for a boodle fight, sharing food and fostering camaraderie among one another.
But the highlight of it allโthe Biowarโbrought the energy back in full force. With adrenaline rushing and voices echoing across the field, teams faced each other in a test of strategy, speed, and teamwork. Every move mattered, and every cheer pushed them forward. The BIOFEAST 2026 overall champion title was awarded to Team Rouge, recognizing their consistent performance across all events while Burgundy claimed second place and Chartreuse took third place.
As the event came to a close, what remained were the moments that didnโt need a scoreboardโthe laughter during the games, the cheers from the sidelines, and the quiet conversations in between. These are the ones that stay, the ones people carry with them long after the day ends. And in their own way, they become reminders of a time shared, a bond formed, and memories that will always feel close no matter where life leads next.
