The training day formally commenced with the attendance check of all basic cadets, ensuring full participation and accountability. This was immediately followed by the battalion formation, which set the tone for the ceremonial opening of the day. Once the formalities were completed, the cadets proceeded to their scheduled training activities.

The morning program began with the battalion ceremony, reinforcing discipline and unity among the ranks. Afterward, cadets engaged in event practice, honing their skills through structured drills and exercises. These activities were designed not only to strengthen technical proficiency but also to instill teamwork and precision. In the afternoon, the training resumed with continued practice sessions, allowing cadets to refine their performance and build confidence. Before the day concluded, special attention was given to the ex*****on of fancy drills, an advanced display of coordination and discipline that highlighted the cadets’ progress. These drills served as both a test of endurance and a demonstration of the cadets’ growing mastery of military routines.

The entire training activity was successfully implemented under the guidance of MAJ RONILO S REYES PA (RES), and training staff.

With the theme “Ang bawat hakbang pasulong ay pagpupugay sa mga hindi kailanman umurong”, the event honored the courage and sacrifices of Filipino heroes, while inspiring today’s youth to continue walking forward with resilience and patriotism. This collective march symbolized not only remembrance but also a renewed commitment to uphold freedom, integrity, and national pride for future generations.

The commemoration was graced by the active participation of key leaders and representatives from various sectors, including Provincial Administrator Don Padilla, Bokal Arnulfo Balane, Mr. Abel Icatlo, Dr. Rainier Ibana (President of Mabini Colleges), Rev. Padre Andrew James Ibasco, PCOL Paul Abay (CNPPO Provincial Director), DILG Provincial Director Melody Relucio, and other distinguished individuals. Their presence underscored the unity of government, education, faith, and community in honoring the nation’s history and values.

The training day commenced with the flag-raising ceremony, preceded by the formation of all basic cadets and inspection of proper bearing, grooming, and uniform appearance to ensure discipline and readiness. Following the ceremony, cadets proceeded to the battalion drills and ceremony practice, which focused on enhancing coordination, discipline, and precision in drill movements led by Sgt Michael T Layderos (Inf) PA, Tactical NCO. The academic component began with a lecture facilitated by Sgt Anthony Vargas (INF) PA, featuring a video presentation on the current situation in the West Philippine Sea, followed by a comprehensive discussion to broaden cadets’ awareness of national security concerns. A second lecture was delivered by Sgt Juan Carlos D Aguirre PA (RES), which emphasized the concept of followership, highlighting responsibility, discipline, teamwork, and cooperation as essential elements of effective leadership support.

In the afternoon, cadets engaged in practical training based on their RAATI designations. The medic group practiced head-to-toe bandaging procedures to enhance emergency response skills. Cadets assigned to M16 familiarization reviewed the parts of the firearm and performed assembly and disassembly exercises. The map reading group studied marginal information found in military maps, while cadets assigned to comprehensive training completed a quiz covering lessons from the previous semester up to the present. Moreover, 2LT ROSALYN Z TAAY (INF) PA, 501 OIC/Director visited. The training day concluded with the formal dismissal and logout of cadets, followed by area cleaning conducted by upperclassmen and advanced officers.

The event was successfully implemented under the supervision of MAJ RONILO S REYES PA (RES), Commandant, and the training staff.
