Faith Wake

Bring it all to peace. Many of us are struck down and defeated within an inch of hope. Having faced the tragedies of recent events or even the day-to-day weariness, we need peace. Not just the tranquil mustering up from within. We alone aren’t enough with our finite vessels. The world has nothing of lasting value to offer us to look to for peace. We need a comfort and an assurance that comes from without, a boundless rest even in the battle. We need an ever-present Help and permanence to anchor us in the storm. A tried and true Sympathizer in our weakness, Redeemer of our brokenness, Author of our healing, and Lifter of our heads—the Prince of Peace. He hears, sees, gives, and takes away. You can trust His hand.
