BALLION kicks Double Gold at CAVRAA 2026

SANTIAGO CITY, ISABELA — A standout performance in the Cagayan Valley Regional Athletic Association (CAVRAA) Meet 2026 brought pride and honor to both athlete and team as one young taekwondo competitor dominated his categories.

Rayniel Jilcen C. Ballion delivered an impressive showing during the competition held from April 12–16, 2026, securing two gold medals in the prestigious regional sporting event.

In the Taekwondo Poomsae Boys Individual A category, he displayed excellent precision, discipline, and control, earning the top podium finish. His strong performance continued in the Team Taekwondo Poomsae event, where he once again helped lead his team to a gold medal victory.

The tournament, held in Santiago City, gathered top young athletes from across the Cagayan Valley region, making the double gold achievement even more remarkable.

CAVRAA 2026 served as a major platform for student-athletes to demonstrate their talent and dedication, and Rayniel’s success highlights his growing potential in the sport of taekwondo.
