𝐂𝐎𝐈𝐋 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

UCV concludes the Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) program today, May 22, 2026, at the CVP Function Hall.

The program aimed to promote global education by connecting students and teachers with partner institutions from various countries through online collaboration.

Moreover, it helped students gain global perspectives and meaningful learning experiences to succeed in an interconnected world.

𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟑 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫 𝐨𝐧 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬

Conducted by the Health and Food Services Department in partnership with Tuguegarao City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, the Training Seminar on Disaster Preparedness concluded today, May 22, 2026, at CVP Building.

The session allowed participants to apply what they have learned from the first to last day of training through a return demonstration and a mock drill. They also shared their insights, knowledge gained, and significance of the training.

Conducted by the UCV 164th Naval Reserve today, May 21, 2026, the seminar aimed to enhance the knowledge, awareness, and preparedness of participants in handling emergencies and unexpected disasters.

The seminar focused on the importance of proper crisis response, disaster preparedness, teamwork, and safety measures.

𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟐 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐜 𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 (𝐁𝐋𝐒) 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐀𝐢𝐝 𝐒𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫

Under the supervision of the Health and Food Services Department, Day 2 of the seminar served as an avenue for participants to deepen their understanding of emergency response procedures, proper patient handling, and life-saving techniques aimed at minimizing risks and preventing further complications before professional medical assistance arrives.

Through lectures, demonstrations, and practical applications, participants were equipped with valuable competencies essential for maintaining safety and preparedness in the community and the workplace.

The Health and Food Services Department of the University of Cagayan Valley successfully conducted a Training Seminar on Disaster Preparedness aimed at enhancing the knowledge, skills, and awareness of clinical personnel in responding effectively to emergency situations. The seminar emphasized the vital importance of Basic Life Support (BLS) and First Aid as essential components in providing immediate and appropriate care during accidents, disasters, and other medical emergencies.
