Starting this Sunday (and every Sunday thereafter from 4:00 AM to 8:00 AM), we can all enjoy a safe, vehicle-free space for our morning rides, runs, and walks. This is a massive win for health, wellness, and our active Dabawenyo community!😍

OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

Following the completion of the construction works by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) and the subsequent assessment conducted by the City Government of Davao, the Davao City Sports Development Office informs the public that the Car-Free Sunday route from Roxas Coastal Road to Bago Coastal Road will officially open starting this Sunday and will be available every Sunday thereafter from 4:00 AM to 8:00 AM.

The expanded route is open to all cyclists, runners, joggers, walkers, and other Car-Free Sunday participants, providing a safe and accessible space for health, wellness, and recreational activities.

This initiative reflects the City Government of Davao’s continuing commitment to promoting an active lifestyle and providing a safe environment for all Dabawenyos.

All participants are advised to observe the following:

* Maintain proper lane discipline at all times.
* Exercise courtesy and respect toward fellow participants.
* Strictly refrain from racing or engaging in unsafe activities.
* Help keep the area clean at all times.

📍 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 & 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀:
• All participants, companions, and participant vehicles must enter and exit through the Baguio National School of Arts and Trades (BNSAT) entrance ONLY.
• A designated access route from BNSAT to the Baguio Central Elementary School (BCES) Race Village will be available.
• Parking inside BNSAT is on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Once the BNSAT parking area is full, participants will be directed to one-side roadside parking, subject to the guidance and direction of the City Transport and Traffic Management Office (CTTMO).
• We highly encourage participants to carpool to help ease traffic congestion and maximize the limited parking spaces available.

🏕️ 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗿𝗲𝗮
• A designated camping area is available within the Race Village.
• Camping spaces are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
• If camping is full or you prefer more comfort, several accommodations are available near the venue.

Please follow the designated routes, event signages, and the instructions of our event marshals and CTTMO personnel to ensure everyone's safety and convenience.
