APEX - SWU SHAHS

A productive planning meeting for the 𝗔𝗣𝗘𝗫 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 was recently held to discuss the strategic direction and upcoming initiatives for the remaining weeks of the current academic term, as well as key preparations for the upcoming school year.

The meeting was led by 𝗗𝗿. 𝗟𝗼𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻 𝗩. 𝗔𝗱𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲, Dean of the School of Health and Allied Health Sciences, together with 𝗧𝘆𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗼, APEX Chancellor and Big Bro of the 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 of the College of Pharmacy, and 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝗞𝗶𝗺 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗮𝘀𝗻𝗼𝘁, Big Bro of the 𝗧𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗶 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 of the College of Nursing.

This gathering provided a valuable opportunity to align mentoring initiatives, strengthen collaboration among mentoring programs, and ensure that meaningful activities and support systems remain in place for students across the allied health disciplines. Discussions focused on sustaining mentorship engagement, enhancing student support structures, and developing forward-looking plans that will further strengthen the APEX mentoring community in the next academic year.

Through shared leadership and collaborative planning, the APEX Grand Mentoring Program continues to cultivate a culture of guidance, leadership development, and peer support among future healthcare professionals.
