Strengthening Gender-Responsive Governance in Cardona! 💜

The Municipality of Cardona, Rizal successfully conducted the Gender and Development (GAD) Planning and Budgeting 2026 on March 4–6, 2026 at The Lighthouse Marina Resort.

This activity gathered department representatives and members of the GAD Focal Point System to collaboratively plan, review, and align programs and initiatives that promote gender equality, women empowerment, and inclusive community development. Through this planning and budgeting activity, the municipality continues to ensure that programs and services are responsive to the needs of women, men, and all sectors of the community.

Together, we move forward in building a gender-responsive, inclusive, and empowered Cardona.

GAD Special Meeting | March 2, 2026 | AVCR 3rd Floor | Municipality of Cardona

The Gender and Development (GAD) Special Meeting was successfully held on Monday, March 2, starting at 2:00 PM onwards at the AVCR, 3rd Floor. The session featured the presentation of the proposed GAD Plan and Budget for 2027, with various departments actively presenting and discussing their respective proposals.

The meeting highlighted collaborative efforts, strategic planning, and a shared commitment to advancing gender-responsive programs and initiatives across the institution.

The Municipality of Cardona, successfully conducted the Capacity Building Gender and Development (GAD) Focal Point System – Barangay Level Workshop last February 20, 2026 at Breeza Montagne Resort & Events, Sitio Bukal, Barangay Tandang Kutyo, Tanay, Rizal.

This seminar strengthened our dedication to responsive governance, gender equality, and inclusive development—equipping our barangay leaders with the skills and understanding needed to champion Gender and Development programs in their respective communities.

Together, we build empowered communities where NO ONE IS LEFT BEHIND. 💪✨
