Some cafés become memorable because of their coffee. Others because of the food.

Unit 605 Coffee gave me another reason to remember it.

Before I even entered, I noticed a sign that read, "Kape para sa may acid reflux." Inside, I found a café that celebrates Filipino ingredients from different parts of the country. Their menu highlights Arabica coffee from Atok, honey from Bacnotan, sea salt from Botolan, and more.

I paired their Laing Na Bagnet with the Asin sa Buy-o Cold Foam Latte, and both delivered exactly what I hoped for. Familiar flavors, thoughtful preparation, and a space that truly felt welcoming.

If you're visiting San Juan, this café deserves a stop between your beach adventures.

I visited twice during my trip. The Summer Day Bowl instantly reminded me of breakfast cafés in Bali, while the Watermelon Lemonade and Pineapple Ginger became the perfect afternoon refreshers after spending time at the beach.

Sometimes, slowing down becomes the highlight of the trip, and Seabuds is exactly that kind of place.
