The journey to the ALIANZA SAN FERNANDO DANCE SHOWDOWN 2026 stage was no joke. We are physically drained, completely exhausted, pagod na pagod—but our hearts are so full.

Proud of the whole crew for pushing through the limits. Shoutout to everyone who cheered for Type1beat! We felt the love, San Fernando!

𝑺𝑨𝒀𝑨𝑾 𝑩𝑨𝑹𝑨𝑵𝑮𝑨𝒀 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔🔥

𝗚𝗨𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗘𝗦 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗠𝗘𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗜𝗖𝗦

𝟭. This year Dance Showdown: Sayaw Barangay Competition is open to all interested Groups either all male, all female, or a combination of both.

𝟮. Each group must have a minimum of 8 members and a maximum of 20 members.
The group should be at the venue an hour before the start of the program.
11 Slots only, first come first serve!!

𝟯. Each Group will be given an allotted time of a minimum of 5 minutes and a maximum of 7 minutes. There will be a one-point deduction in the total score of every judge for every 30 seconds exceeding the maximum allotted time of the performance.

𝟰. There shall be 3 winners: the 3rd Runner Up 2nd Runner Up, 1st Runner Up and the Champion.

𝟲. This Dance Showdown: Sayaw Barangay 2026 Competition is judged with the following criteria:

• 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗴 - 30%
• 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 - 20%
• 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗫-𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 - 20%
• 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘄𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 - 20%
• 𝗔𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁 - 10%

𝟲. A ranking system is used in the selection of winners. In case of a tie point system, the participating groups shall provide 2 mins. Dance in order to break the tie.

7. The decision of the Judges is final and irrevocable.
