Forgiving someone who has wounded us is often one of the hardest commands to obey, yet it is a command from God. If we desire to receive His forgiveness, we must also be willing to forgive others. This becomes especially difficult when the pain runs deep or when our hearts are heavily invested in the situation.
Still, we must remember that all of us fall short. We are sinners in need of mercy. In one way or another, we too have hurt others—and even grieved God. We are not above the person who has wronged us.
Because of this, we are called to extend grace, just as grace has been extended to us. As we have freely received mercy from the Lord, we should also freely give it. Forgiveness is not easy, but it reflects the heart of Christ within us.

Prayers require faith, and God promised you will receive it. ❤️🙏🏼
Jesus teaches that the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven are those who turn away from sin and become like little children—humble, dependent, and sincere before God.
The Lord calls us to repentance that leads us back to Him. Repentance is more than simply asking for forgiveness; it requires a change of direction—a turning away from the sins that keep us from fully knowing and experiencing God. It is a deliberate choice to leave behind what separates us from His presence.
Like a child, we are also called to humble ourselves before the Lord. This means laying down pride, arrogance, and self-reliance, and fully surrendering our lives to Him. With a teachable heart and complete dependence on God, we come before Him not trusting in our own righteousness, but in His grace.
These are the believers whom the Lord calls great—those who repent, humble themselves, and wholeheartedly surrender their lives to Him.
