ATTENTION Pioneers: Pi Account SMS verification

If you have been unsuccessful in trying to do the SMS verification process in your Pi account, pay attention to these nuggets:

1. Make sure you send the SMS from the same number that is linked to your Pi account.
2. The SMS is not free. Have sufficient airtime. If you are in Philippines, have at least 30 php regular load in the sim.

3. Stop waiting for a code to be sent to you after the SMS delivers. Pi doesn't send codes. Just go back to your Pi app immediately and wait a few seconds to gain access.

4. If nothing happens after a few seconds, try another country server apart from the default USA.

Many pioneers have failed in their attempts to verify with SMS because they didn't pay attention to these little things.
