Senator Bato, with all due respect, this is perhaps the moment to show the kind of courage expected from a former chief law enforcer , hindi lang sa matapang na pananalita but restraint in the face of the law.

Ang estado ay may inherent and constitutional power to enforce lawful orders and legal processes. Wala dapat public office, kabilang na ang Senado, or political alliance na mailagay sa isang position where it may trigger a constitutional crisis simply to shield one man from arrest or accountability. Ang ating institusyon ay mas malaki sa isang individual.

Please do not ask ordinary supporters, staff members, or emotional followers to place themselves between the law and its enforcement. No Filipino should become a human shield for politics. Isa kang senador at lider and it demands personal sacrifice so the nation may remain stable, peaceful, and governed by law instead of emotion.

Pakiusap Sen., pls do not attempt to hide inside the compartment of any outgoing vehicle leaving the Senate premises. Wag mo na sana ilagay ang Senado in the uncomfortable and compromising position of appearing to aid or tolerate any possible escape attempt, if such a plan indeed exists.

Pls do not reduce yourself into a laughing spectacle before the entire world by getting caught hiding . Harapin mo ang sitwasyon ng may dignidad, and not desperation.
