Gianne Balolong, SSLG President, actively participated in the Youth Suffrage Education Caravan held on May 26, 2026 at SM City Tuguegarao.

Together with youth leaders, students, SK members, and advocates from across Region II, the event empowered participants through sessions on human rights, leadership, civic participation, and electoral education. With CHR, COMELEC, NYC, and partner agencies fostering collaboration, the caravan turned awareness into action, equipping the youth to confront disinformation, vote-buying, and champion responsible citizenship for a stronger democracy.

Learners’ Convergence Cagayan Valley 2026
Gianne Balolong, SSLG President of Libag Integrated School, proudly represented the school at the Learners’ Convergence Cagayan Valley 2026, held from May 4–6 at the Villa Mercedes Nature Farm and Resort, Brgy. Namnama, City of Ilagan, Isabela.

The convergence united student leaders from across Region II, weaving together technical training and heritage-inspired mentorship. Delegates embodied a leadership style rooted in service and vision, engaging in sessions on resolution writing, collaboration, and civic development.

This gathering highlighted the vital role of nurturing student leaders who are not only equipped with essential skills but also deeply grounded in cultural identity and community values. By fostering leadership, collaboration, and civic responsibility, the Learners’ Convergence continues to shape the next generation of youth leaders who will carry forward the spirit of empowerment and unity.
