PSES pride!
Kate Xyryn P..Fernandez, Grade-V pupil, proudly brought honor to our school after winning bronze medal in the Chess Standard Individual Category and silver medal in team standard category and during the recently concluded CAVRAA Meet 2026 held at Santiago City, Isabela.

The prestigious regional competition gathered talented young athletes from across Region II, showcasing not only physical strength but also intellectual excellence in various sports, including chess.

Throughout the tournament, Fernandez demonstrated remarkable strategic thinking, patience, and composure. Each match highlighted their ability to anticipate opponents’ moves and respond with calculated decisions, earning them a well-deserved spot among the top finishers.

School officials, coaches, and fellow learners expressed pride and admiration for the achievement, emphasizing that this victory reflects dedication, discipline, and countless hours of training.
The accomplishment not only brings recognition to the school but also inspires other young learners to pursue excellence in both academics and extracurricular activities.
With this success, the student sets an example of perseverance and sportsmanship, proving that determination and hard work can lead to remarkable achievements on the regional stage.
