Leaders often say they want more accountability, but accountability does not emerge from reminders, speeches, or pressure alone. It emerges from design. People take ownership when expectations are clear, authority is matched to responsibility, and outcomes are measurable.
If no one owns results, examine the structure before blaming the people.
