Lighting a thousand candles for you...
Today, we are sending a thousand prayers of thanksgiving for our "Bossing" as we commemorate his death anniversary.
Hon. Francisco C. Magpantay, "papa" to his family, "tatay" to his "adopted" kids, or "bossing" to most of us, was the first college president of our beloved alma mater, LCC. He co-founded the school with his ever-beloved wife, Dr. Loreto F. Magpantay to provide easy on the pocket but quality education to San Josenos.
With the couple's leadership, the institution grew from a simple tutorial to a college, catering to thousands of learners, providing better life to its stakeholders. LCC remains true to its promise: "Changing lives for the better YOU"
Bossing, we thank God for your big heart. We love you.
Your legacy (LCC) lives on...

Prof. Rey G. Robles has successfully earned his Juris Doctor degree while serving as the Program Head of Hospitality management at La Concepcion College.
His journey through law school was far from easy. From the beginning, he knew he was entering a demanding environment that required him to balance work, family, and academic responsibilities. Despite his role as an administrator, he committed himself fully to the challenges of legal education.
Like many law students, he experienced the usual struggles in law school such as a lot of cases, difficult subjects, and recitations that did not always go well. โI failed sometimes; I could not always recite in a class. But every setback taught me resilience,โ he said.
There were also nights of little sleep and moments of doubt. Yet, what kept him going was a clear sense of purpose ---to serve justice and to grow not only as a professional but also as a person.
Now that he has completed his law degree, Dr. Robles sees this achievement not as an end, but as the beginning of a new chapter. The knowledge and discipline he gained throughout his journey will guide him as he moves forward in his career.
He extends his heartfelt gratitude to the LCC administrators, his LCC family, his wife and daughter, and above all, to God, for their constant support and encouragement.
Through his perseverance and dedication, Prof. Robles has become an inspiring example to the LCC community. He reflects the institution's core values of leadership, competitiveness, and a culture of excellence.
From LCC Broadcasting Network, LCC Pen and the Communication Arts Division (CAD), we proudly congratulate Dr. Rey G. Robles on this impressive achievement.
