Another feat for the Bayanihan Millennium Multi-Purpose Cooperative (BMMPC) as they place top 10 during the 2026 Philippine Coffee Competiton in One Ayala, Makati City on June 5, 2026.

Hermalyn Salido of BMMPC made her mark as her cup scored 83.77 points overall for the arabica category, with notes of dried fruit, cocoa, nutty, citrus and caramel.

In a separate interview, Salido encouraged her fellow coffee farmers to never grow tired of going through the process of producing high-quality coffee and urged others to venture into coffee farming.

“Dili gyud ko makaingon nga basta-basta ang pag-process, pero try ra gyud ta ug dili mawad-an ug paglaum, ug mananom pud ta ug kape,” Salido added.

[“I cannot say that the process is easy, but we should just keep trying, never lose hope, and continue planting coffee as well.”]

The Philippine Coffee Expo highlighted initiatives designed to connect Mindanao coffee farmers with broader market opportunities and foster co-investment partnerships within the coffee sector. Also among the exhibitors was RIC - Kape Maramag.
