Kathleen Tupas Lebita,MPA, for spearheading our environmental efforts. This award celebrates the dedication and achievement reflects in Clarin Municipality and our 24 barangays to a sustainable future – promoting eco-friendly practices and greener initiatives.

The Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO), led by EnP. Kathleen T. Lebita and team, in coordination with Municipal Mayor Eugeniano E. Ibarra, successfully conducted the Ecological Solid Waste Management (ESWM) Monitoring and Evaluation for 24 barangays and school-based programs on March 31, 2026. The evaluation included distribution of ESWM leaflets, dissemination of the ESWM Official Jingle via email or flash drive, and on-site visits to households, barangays, and school Material Recovery Facilities (MRFs) and compost pits. The ESWM team provided scoring evaluations and guidance to the barangays, identifying areas for improvement. This initiative, supported by the ESWM unit of the Local Government Unit of Clarin, promotes sustainable environmental practices and contributes to a greener world.

A meeting was convened, led by Municipal Mayor Eugeniano E. Ibarra. The meeting, comprising the deliberation on the presentation of the Forest Land Use Plan (FLUP) draft to the steering committee, facilitated constructive discussions and garnered valuable inputs from committee. The draft was subsequently submitted to DENR-CENRO for review, with the participation of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), marking a significant milestone in the planning process.

In line with this, the Local Government Unit of Clarin, led by Municipal Mayor Engr. Eugeniano E. Ibarra, together with municipal employees, BFP, and Coast Guard, took part in a coastal clean-up at Poblacion Norte and Clarin Wharf on March 23, 2026.

The celebration aims to raise awareness on gender-responsive water management practices and highlights the vital role of women and all genders in water governance, management, and conservation, and underscores the importance of equitable access to safeand sustainable water resources.

DAY 1 🔥 of the Joint Monitoring and Evaluation of MELPPI PRO and Ecological Solid Waste Management (ESWM) is underway in Clarin, Bohol! 💪 Excited to see the collaboration and progress of each barangay with MPDC/MENRO Kathleen Tupas Lebitaand team! 👏

In observance of Zero Waste Month, a Clean-Up Drive was conducted on January 23, 2026, together with all LGU-Clarin municipal employees and student immersionist from PMSC-Clarin . The activity aimed to promote environmental awareness and responsible waste management in our community. Participants worked together to clean and properly segregate waste in designated areas. This initiative reflects the commitment of the LGU to maintain a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable environment. Thank you to all municipal employees and immersionist who actively supported and participated in this meaningful activity. 🍀🌿🌱🌳
