The Bureau of Fire Protection – Ballesteros Fire Station, under the leadership of SFO4 Darwin Dante A. Agatep III, Officer-in-Charge, conducted various activities during the Semana Santa period. These included the inspection of resorts, deployment of the BFP First Aid Service Team (FAST) at Barangay Sta. Cruz, Ballesteros, conduct of bike patrols along coastal areas, coordination with other agencies, increased visibility in churches, and the implementation of safety inspections in resorts to ensure public safety and preparedness.

Under the leadership of 𝐅𝐒𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐕𝐈𝐂𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐀 𝐀𝐆𝐁𝐀𝐘𝐀𝐍𝐈 𝐃𝐎𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐎, 𝐃𝐒𝐂, 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫, the Bureau of Fire Protection Region 2 joins the observance of Maundy Thursday, a time for reflection on humility, service, and compassion.

As families gather and prepare meals, everyone is reminded to remain alert and practice fire safety.

The Bureau of Fire Protection, Ballesteros Fire Station, under the leadership of 𝗦𝗙𝗢𝟰 𝗗𝗮𝗿𝘄𝗶𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲 𝗔 𝗔𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝗜𝗜𝗜, Officer-In-Charge, proudly conducts the Community Fire Protection Program (CFPP) Workshop and Community Fire Auxiliary Group (CFAG) Training as part of its continuous effort to promote fire safety awareness and strengthen community preparedness.

These activities are designed to equip participants with essential knowledge, practical skills, and the right attitude in preventing and responding to fire-related emergencies within their respective communities.

Through the CFPP Workshop, participants are guided in identifying potential fire hazards, assessing risks, and developing effective fire prevention plans. Meanwhile, the CFAG Training empowers volunteers to become active partners of the BFP, enhancing their capability to assist in fire suppression, emergency response, and public safety initiatives.

Anchored on the theme, “Sa pag-iwas sa sunog, hindi ka nag-iisa,” the BFP highlights the importance of collective action and shared responsibility. Fire safety is not solely the duty of firefighters, but a commitment that requires the cooperation of every individual.

With unity, vigilance, and proactive involvement, we can build a safer, more prepared, and resilient community for all.
