Handumanan raises supremacy on DSPC 2019 and RSPC 2019.

Handumanan National High School lifted its name during the Division Schools Press Conference 2019 on October 8-10 at Andres Bonifacio Elementary School 1&2 as The Gleam writers: Eryl Magbanua (Editorial Cartooning 10th place), Marjoe Toquillo (Sports Writing 1st place) and Tricia Gep Palenge (Feature Writing 11th place) and Ang Sinag writers Julie Montaño (Editorial Writing 3rd place) and Clea Obahib (Feature Writing 3rd place) assured places for the Regional Schools Press Conference 2019 on November 22-23,2019.

All schools from the Division of Bacolod took part on the said contest both public and private; still Handumanan NHS made it on the top.

For the individual contests, the representatives faced powerhouses; with great wit, passion and writing techniques, Handumanan NHS stood tall and its name was never invisible on the announcement of results on October 10.

The Regional Schools Press Conference 2019 in Iloilo was an upset encounter to the contenders as they face other schools division also aiming for the 10 winning stairs and 3 of those shall be elevated to the National Schools Press Conference on Tuguegarao (Region 2).

Though failed to secure a National SPC slot, Handumanan NHS waved with triumph as Julie Montaño of Ang Sinag grasped the 7th Place on the Editorial Writing Filipino.

Their journey as campus journalists doesn't end on the Press Conference. It is only a training ground for experiences and lessons as great Journalists of the school today, and reliable Journalists tomorrow.
