𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙨𝙝 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝘼𝙧𝙜𝙪𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩? 𝙊𝙧 𝙍𝙚𝙘𝙮𝙘𝙡𝙚 𝙞𝙩 𝘽𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧! 🗣️♻️

The 𝘿𝙚𝙗𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙨' 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙜𝙪𝙚 Club proudly attended the 𝙄𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙮𝙖 𝘽𝙖𝙨𝙪𝙧𝙖: 𝙍𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘽𝙖𝙘𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙙'𝙨 𝙒𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙚 𝙎𝙤𝙡𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙋𝙪𝙗𝙡𝙞𝙘 𝙁𝙤𝙧𝙪𝙢 organized by the Negrosanon Initiative for Climate and the Environment (NICE), alongside around 200 participants from across Bacolod and the Negros Island Region. 🏝️

The forum, featuring insights from Silliman University adjunct professor Dr. Jorge Emmanuel and GAIA Asia-Pacific Executive Director Mr. Froilan Grate highlighted the real health and environmental risks of 𝘸𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘦-𝘵𝘰-𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘨𝘺 (WTE) incinerators, with experts explaining how these can lead to toxic emissions and long-term harm. At the same time, zero-waste solutions were pushed as practical and proven alternatives that cities can start doing now. 🍃

Definitely more than just a sit-and-listen moment, this experience showed us that 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙫𝙤𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙨 𝙖𝙨 𝙙𝙚𝙗𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝙜𝙤 𝙗𝙚𝙮𝙤𝙣𝙙 𝙖𝙧𝙜𝙪𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙪𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙖𝙠 𝙪𝙥 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙚. ❤️‍🔥⚔️
