OFFICIAL STATEMENT

After much thought and careful consideration, we would like to announce that Monakid will be parting ways with our guitarist, Cy Villareal.

This decision did not come easy. Over the years, Cy has been a huge part of our sound, our growth, and the memories we’ve built as a band. We are deeply grateful for his dedication, creativity, and the countless moments we’ve shared both on and off stage.

We ask for your understanding and respect during this time as we move forward separately. We will continue to support each other in our individual paths, and we are excited to see Cy's next unique creative chapter unfold, particularly as he explores and develops his skills in the art of macho dancing. We wish him the absolute best.
