JNHS - A.P. Club

The Jovellar National High School (JNHS) community mourns the loss of our former student, colleague, inspiring mentor, and dear friend, Mr. John Bren Macandog Dolor.

​JB, as his friends call him, was a dedicated Science Teacher who worked alongside us at JNHS in 2019. He later brought his leadership to Mamlad National High School before being assigned as Principal of Alabangpuro National High School.

​He lived with the precision of a scientist and the profound heart of a community advocate. His greatest passion was evident not just in the classroom, but through his deep commitment to environmental service. JB was the brilliant proponent of "Plastik ni Langga," a successful initiative known for its year-round, community-based collection, recycling, and selling of plastic that earned recognition and uplifted the entire Masbate community.

​To those of us who knew him well, JB was defined by his deep and enduring loyalty. He had a rare, genuine gift for encouraging and uplifting people in his own quiet way, offering a steady source of support and belief when it was most needed. He acted as a positive catalyst in our lives, silently initiating powerful, lasting change.

​His spirit, full of warmth, wisdom, and advocacy, is an immeasurable loss. His commitment to growth—of his students, his community, and the environment—will remain a constant inspiration to us all.
​We send our deepest, heartfelt sympathies to his family, friends, and the entire Alabangpuro National High School community.

United Nations is like a club for almost every country on Earth. It has been founded after World War II, the UN’s main goals are to keep the peace, protect human rights, and help countries to develop. It has been evolved over the years to keep pace with a rapidly changing world. 🕊

This United Nations Month, the JNHS AP Club, alongside our incredible students and dedicated teachers, came together to honor the values of global solidarity, peace, and cooperation!

Join us, as we embrace this year’s theme, "Cooperatives Build a Better World", proving that when we work together, we can create sustainable solutions, and shape a brighter tomorrow! 🤝💙

JNHS celebrates the power and spirit of ASEAN!

ASEAN Day is the annual commemoration of the founding of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) – a regional intergovernmental organisation that fosters cooperation and integration among its ten member states in Southeast Asia.

On the 8th of August each year, member countries gather to celebrate the establishment of ASEAN. Throughout the ASEAN Day celebrations, member nations participate in various activities to promote regional solidarity and showcase ASEAN’s achievements and objectives. This occasion serves as a vital platform to emphasize the significance of regional collaboration in addressing shared challenges and fostering economic growth and cultural understanding.
