SMS Story - Text Message Teaching and Learning

SUCCESS! - An amazing SMS Story writing workshop was completed successfully last week, with 200+ stories and lesson plans created by the wonderful writing team! - HUGE thank you to: Philippa Darius, Betty Banna, Diyo Siguyaru, Joyce Bapun, Norman Bapun, Malinda Philip, Lucy Giris,Carol Abiri and Richard Jones! + Hilda Arija for helping to arrange all logistics for everyone. - Great team effort.

We are all VERY excited to be launching our SMS Story and lesson writing workshop next week!!!

Will will have 9 wonderful PNG teachers and writers coming to Madang to work for a whole week to produce over 200 stories and lessons which we will then use for sending out to teachers in the 10 chosen provinces.................

Then it will be the posters...............and then hopefully we will start the text messages soon after that.

Hello everyone! - It is so lovely to have people already liking this page and asking questions.

To give you all an update - We are running a writing workshop on 20th July for the team of teachers and lesson writers to develop over 200 lessons and phonetic stories which will be delivered by text message to elementary teachers.

We are also about to have posters and flyers printed and sent to our 10 chosen provinces!

Once these are ready we will have a text message shortcode for elementary teachers to text into to confirm they would like to be included in this project.
