And YES I LOVED IT!

Lightning ripped through the sky. Thunder rolled over the water. The whole Indian Ocean felt alive.

Every flash lit up the horizon like a scene from a movie, and instead of heading for cover, I couldn’t look away.

Most travelers would probably be wishing for blue skies in that moment. But watching nature unleash its full power from an overwater villa in the middle of the Maldives felt like front-row seats to something wild.

The Maldives isn’t always calm, quiet, and postcard-perfect.

Sometimes it’s untamed. Sometimes it’s electric.

And honestly? Sometimes that’s even better. I will never forget these thrilling Maldives holiday experiences!⚡️🇲🇻

I always thought the ultimate Maldives experience was staying in an overwater villa…

But after seeing this brand-new beach villa at Siyam Iru Fushi, I’m seriously having second thoughts. 🤯🌴

This villa is HUGE.

A massive bedroom with beach views, a bathroom that feels bigger than some hotel rooms, two outdoor showers, an outdoor bathtub, multiple lounge areas, a giant private pool, and your own tropical garden leading straight onto the beach.

What surprised me most is how much privacy you get. No neighbors looking into your pool, no one walking past your terrace. Just your own little slice of paradise.

And while overwater villas give you direct access to the lagoon, beach villas give you something completely different: space. Lots and lots of space.

Now I’m curious…
