HaHa Around The World

We spent our last days in Chile in Iquique, an unique city where Atacama desert meets the ocean. Iquique was originally a Peruvian town, only ceded to Chile after the War of the Pacific in the late 19th century. It is well-known for its huge duty-free commercial zone and for (as it is always the case with all northern cities in Chile) copper mining. But the main reason for our visit was different yet - to meet our dear amiga Nikol, who we got to know during Jana's career as a waitress in the south of Chile. :)

Back to the journey. You might not know, but there is a small Czech community living in Paraguay, so we couldn't miss a chance to meet at least some of those people. Do they still speak Czech? How does their life looks like? Will they even talk to us? You will find out while checking the pictures! ^_^
