FREELANCING INTERIOR DESIGNER JOB.

A Specific Project Interior Design Freelancer is required, for the Interior design preparation of one of the most prestigious Banks in Sultanate of Oman.

PROJECT TASKS include:

1- Determine Client goals and requirements for the interior fit out of the project.

2- Review existing interior designs for all workplaces with a focus on creating spaces that are more efficient, functional, and safe for employees.

3- Incorporate design elements that reflect the Bank ‘brand’ in all designs (visits to existing branches in is paramount to achieving standardization)

4- Create a timeline for interior design fit out and estimate project costs.

5- Specify materials and furnishings, such as lighting, wall finishes, flooring and plumbing fixtures.

6- Prepare furniture layouts in liaison with the Branch Management Team, finalize tender documents for procurement of the furniture.

7- Provide conceptual design alternatives (with at least 4 options, inclusive of 3D images of key areas.

8- Develop the design and prepare detailed ex*****on (IFC) drawings, details and specifications.

9- Prepare estimates of quantities of work and costs, prepare tender documents (including the Bill of Quantities) for the selection of furniture vendors and for all loose FF&E.

10- The Presence in Oman is not mandatory, however the Ability to attend up to ten meetings in Oman is a must.

Requirements:
• Working with Autodesk Revit and Residing in Muscat are Must
• Prepare Lighting Lux Calculations and Propose Lighting fixtures and fittings types.
• Prepare Power Calculations and Small power layouts.
• Prepare HVAC Calculations & HVAC Layouts, ducting and details.
• Prepare DB Schedules
• Prepare Single Line Diagrams
• Prepare Security CCTV Layouts and details
• Prepare Drainage layouts and details
• Prepare Water supply layouts and details
• Prepare Bill of Quantities for the previous works
• Propose specifications and types for the previous works
• Carry out meetings to discuss the proposed work

* Civil Engineering
* Minimum 10 years of recent experience in construction works on marine structures in open seas
* Breakwater construction
* Jetty/Wharf/Quay wall works
* Dredging works
* Infrastructure construction works
* Knowledge of construction of rock embankments
* Minimum 10 years’ experience as Project Manager or Resident Engineer on major marine projects
* Quantity surveying
* Contract administration, construction procedures and specifications

* Overall experience for at least 18 years.

* Well versed with specification and construction procedures
* Overall experience for at least 18 years.

* Fluent in English
* Good communication and reporting skills to interact with Contractor and Client.
* overall experience of 10 years as a professional diver.
* Inspection of under water works and experience in using under water cameras.
* Conversant with Underwater Engineering Technology and preparation of inspection report.
* Possess technical diver certificate.
