‼️ An offer to help cover the cost of spay/neuter, and vaccinations for this young pair πŸ‘€

------- 🐰 ‐------

Posts like these are a sure way to ruin any rescuer's day: intact, high-risk breeds being given away for free without precautions for their safety, let alone consideration for their happiness πŸ’”

Within an hour of posting across multiple groups, both rabbits were claimed and collected and the posts were promptly deleted.

Given the speed of these events, their new family are unlikely to have seen our offer to sponsor both rabbits' des*x surgeries, vaccinations, and microchips πŸ‘€

We are concerned that the girl may already be pregnant, but either way, we would like to support this young pair to live their happiest and healthiest lives together.

So if their new family see this, please flick us a message!

No judgement or questions. This is simply an offer to help set you up for a successful life with your new companions πŸ‡

🐰 We know we've been quiet lately (we'll explain later) but right now animals in Aotearoa need your help.

This is important.

There are now over 31,000 signatures from New Zealanders who want an independent voice for animals in Parliament. The petition hand over is next Tuesday, 3rd of March, and we'd love for you to join us 🐰

If you haven't already, there is still time to follow the link below and sign the petition calling for a Commissioner for Animals ‼️

Don't forget to share with your friends and whānau 🐰
