Winter Vegetation removal -

We've been going through another round of vegetation removal around the neighborhood, this time removing a row of overgrown flax on a boundary line.
Some of the Flax was collected locally to make tree protectors for native replanting projects, how cool!
The rest went to Hawea green waste to be shredded and cooked into a compost blend.

Quick little job just a short bike ride from home,
The clients were being courteous to their neighbors who were about to have an open home and we removed and tidied some excess fill from their front lawn which was left over from a Christmas landscaping job.

Save the trees!

A small project in Wanaka where some trees would be needed to be cleared for a deck to be constructed.

We carefully excavated the trees and placed them under shade for later replanting, the survival rate for smaller trees and shrubs is quite high when done well and we prefer to do this whenever possible.

Once removed we excavated the garden to allow for the deck construction, final result will look great!

Earthworks, roads and accessways -

We installed a new vehicle access way to this section in Queenstown towards the end of last year, making the most of the clients land by giving vehicle access and parking to a steep section.

We were able to work in a tight area and be non intrusive to the rest of the section while still moving earth and placing a fair amount of hardfill!

Vegetation clearing -

We've been doing a run of small vegetation clearing jobs recently, flax and other problem plants removed quickly and cleanly with an excavator and truck, no need for sprays or slaving in the hot sun!

To offer a better and more cost effective service we would like to do link up multiple small jobs in one area and do them back to back, probably once per month.
