🌿 A Message from the Awa Artist Group 🌿

Dear friends and supporters,

After an incredible journey of creativity, connection, and community, we’re sharing the news that the Awa Artist Group will be finishing up. Life is moving forward in different directions for each of us, and it feels like the right time to close this chapter with gratitude.

We’re so proud of everything we’ve created together — the exhibitions, the workshops, the shared moments of inspiration, and the support that’s flowed between us all. None of it would have been possible without your encouragement and involvement.

Though the group is ending, our individual creative journeys continue. We hope you'll stay connected with us as artists in whatever ways feel right.

3 AWA artists will be opening their studios in the Upper Hutt Art Trail in October this year.
Karen Pearce Artist and Gemma Goodwin Artist will be sharing Gemma’s studio space and Greenhall Studio Art will be open to visitors again.

We can’t wait to share this experience with you and hope you can come visit.

We have almost doubled the amount of artists and groups that will be welcoming people into their studios and sharing their art practice from last year.
We have 42 amazing talented artists/groups this year for the 2nd annual Upper Hutt Art Trail.
