One of my favourite moments as a guide isn’t arriving at a famous attraction.

It’s watching my guests stop, smile, and simply take in a view like this.

This photo was taken on a crisp South Island morning at Mt John, overlooking the turquoise waters of Lake Tekapo.

The view is spectacular, but what I remember most is seeing the smiles, hearing the conversations, and watching everyone take a moment to simply enjoy where they were.

That’s what travel means to me.

Not rushing from one attraction to the next.

Not ticking boxes.

But sharing experiences, discovering new places, and creating memories with the people you care about.
