Make sure to NOT paint over any mould, as this only masks the issue and allows it to worsen beneath the surface. Instead, treat and remove mould properly to prevent its return.
Regularly check and clear window weep holes, which are small drainage outlets designed to allow moisture to escape from the window frame. By keeping these holes clear, you can help reduce internal moisture build-up, which minimises visible moisture problems that aren't directly related to the property's weathertightness.
