Farewell Jukejoint.

Yesterday I played my last gig with Jukejoint, at the 3rd Blues on the Point Festival, to concentrate on my own band, Rich and The Poor Boys who've been increasingly in demand with their mix of original songs and classic Blues.

I 've played with Jukejoint since they formed in 2020, just after I arrived in New Zealand from the UK . The original band included the late, great Paul Nickless on guitar, Nev Harris on bass and Denny Allen on drums and vocals. Jukejoint quickly built a following, playing in the Tasman region.

My time with the band over the last 5 years has been a great experience, and it's been a real privilege playing with such talented musicians. I wish them well in the future.
