A Night At The Grand 2026 BucketList Banquet. No matter the theme they are always INCREDIBLE! After so many years of working this event, it is a permanent booking in my calendar. To be a part of an amazing night, providing exceptional service (as does!), and catching up with so many of the guests who have now become friends, and all for an incredible cause... how could one say no.
Someone asked me last night, how many of these have I done... and honestly, I have lost count. Too many to remember, but most of them. I have seen literally millions of dollars raised over the years through these special events, and I'm so pleased to be able to play a part in it ❤️

At the risk of sharing something a little personal… this feels too important not to post.

This week, .photographer and I celebrated 19 years of doing life together. And honestly? I’m not entirely sure he knew what he was signing up for when he first asked:

“Will you be my girl?”

But ever since that moment, he’s been on the beautifully wild ride that is life with Astra Patmore.

For almost two decades, he’s been:
My ride or die.
My calm in the chaos.
And the person cheering the loudest from the sidelines—even in the seasons where I’ve struggled to cheer for myself.

The other day, after a phone conversation, he sent me the message in pic two… and my heart absolutely melted. All the warm fuzzies, even decades on.

It reminded me how much the right people in your corner matter.

The ones who steady you.
Believe in you.
Back you quietly and consistently behind closed doors.

So this is a little appreciation post for this guy right here.

It's so easy to get busy and caught up in the hustle or admin, or even the strategy... and raincheck the in-person catch-ups.

But what if that seemingly 'casual' coffee was the connection that not only builds your business today, but sustains your brand long-term.

One things I hear alot is 'You're so good at relationships -it's like a super-power!' And sure, i'll take that. But I would actually reframe that to say its one of my VALUES...
For decades, I have put value on people and building relationship, so much so its just in my DNA now. But its there ...because I've chosen it.
