Frame washing : Part 1 the benefits and the importance of frame washing.

Our bee's here in New Zealand are slowing down for the winter season. There is so many tasks and responsibilities involved sometimes it can be hard to juggle and manage time with wintering down and preparing our bee's with keeping a stong and healthy hive and colony.

It's now time to start cleaning your hives frames, If you are struggling for time to manage with this ? No problem we can help you with this service. It is so important to do this to avoid pesky wax moth/eggs or other pests from getting into your frames. It also allows your bee's more time and less pressure to produce a great quality honey production. 🍯

Check out our part 2 of frame washing we have available with a video of Dean from BeeHavinn showing us how it's done.

Feel free to message for more info or contact If you would like help with this or any other services/products on offer.

This Year has been a extremely hard year for our Bee's and pollination due to the amounts of rain we have been having the pollen gets washed away making it harder for our bee's to get a chance to harvest. Because of this our Bees's are very hungry and a increase to invasion to our hives from foreign bee's and wasp causing a further issue to our bee's.

Here at BeeHavinn we would love to help you with this. We have a solution to help you and your Bee's to reduce and manage unwanted invasion.
The Solution we have for you is a great robbing screen , We make our own screens designed with small entrances where the bee's will need to single file,
Giving your Bee's the extra chance to deal with an invasion. As shown in our picture example. There is also a video example to view in comments section.

We make the wooden Nuc, Corflute Nuc's, 3 disc hives doctor base and Wooden , 1 disc hive doctor base's.
